Yay! Power’s back on. (Here’s hoping tonight’s storm doesn’t knock it back out.) By the end of today, I’ll be caught up on all my orders. And it’s almost 2008, and you know what that means! Yessiree, the Überlist.

This isn’t absolutely final, but it’s close.

Home Improvement:

  1. Make and hang curtain in laundry room
  2. Take down bunting in bedroom, already
  3. Find/fix my shams or get a new duvet set (haven’t put it on yet–waiting for Freddy to grow up a bit)
  4. Make 3 energy improvements
  5. Get an estimate on geothermal for grant-seeking purposes
  6. Experiment with small-scale solar something
  7. Hire someone to clean out gutters (or do it ourselves)
  8. Refinish kitchen cabinets
  9. Pick out nice colors for various room to use up existing paints and then hire one of those paint guys
  10. Move top-loading washing machine upstairs to home ec room
  11. Get backup system to run boiler electric in place
  12. Emergency power kit (extension cords, radio, station to charge flashlights, etc.)
  13. Laminate generator starter/care instructions & attach to generator
  14. Fix feet on microwave
  15. Unpack collections and display
  16. Make sure each room has desk & chair, lamp(s), wastebasket (label bottom of each with room name)
  17. Sort out boiler room sump pit mess
  18. Repair that freaking wardrobe already
  19. Clear out/organize north gym closet
  20. Clear out/organize south gym closet
  21. Clear out/organize south basement closet
  22. Clear out/organize basement storage room
  23. Clear out/organize locker storage room
  24. Clear out/organize lobby supply closet
  25. Bedroom closets
  26. Completely put away everything in the back hall and keep the ramp up on its side La Martha: 
  27. Better manage recycling
  28. Address/pay/file papers/bills as they come in
  29. Decide and divide chores and/or hire someone to clean bi-weekly
  30. File those overflowing baskets of crap, already!
  31. Big cooking weekend quarterly for stock, sauces, beans, and soups (not formally; but kept up pretty well)
  32. Clean up bedroom and keep it that way, somehow. Prayer, maybe?
  33. Retally yarn stash and complete 40% yarn destash (use/sell/give) before any new purchases
  34. Eliminate 100# of fiber outright & spin another 10#
  35. Reinstitute Daily 5 list & weekly routine
  36. Use breadmaker weekly
  37. Clear out/organize safe
  38. Set up packing area & rig up an old computer/printer or get new one.
  39. Bag merch
  40. Organize merch
  41. Organize home ec room The Internets/computer: 
  42. Get that whore of an inbox emptied out and KEEP IT CLEAN! GTD! GTD! GTD!
  43. Reformat NN site so it’s easier to find shit & looks cuter

  47. Retrieve data off of old hard drive, or just abandon the whole idea and reformat
  48. Backup system
  49. Finish mom’s ‘07 Mother’s Day present. Sigh. Bad daughter. Monies: 
  50. Honestly address my finances and come up with a viable plan of attack
  51. Figure out a modest discretionary budget and stick to it
  52. Combine/organize PayPal accounts
  53. Track spending/income and review weekly MeMeMe: 
  54. Get rid of 100 items of clothing (1/1)
  55. Back to goal weight–attend WW meetings. Yuck. What a hassle.

  60. Make some of those SHE cards for basic beauty so I don’t keep finding myself with caveman eyebrows (made them; but don’t use, so…)

  64. Get 50 CDs on iTunes
  65. Visit Austin!
  66. Use the excerbike 3x/week when I’m knitting in front of the tee vee. Kraftwerk:

  68. Finish and submit fabulous proposal with Adrian
  69. Motorize one of my carders (bought motorized carder instead) TCB:

  82. Pick one day as Grant Day and earnestly pursue grants

  88. Hire someone to clean up Eskridge buildings (did hire; he didn’t really do anything; also hired Barb to clean up HS basement) Viva Kansas:

  90. Eat pie in 6 different Kansas counties & mark them off on map (Wabaunsee, Potawanamie, Osage, Shawnee)
  91. FAILURE: Keep 25% of spending in the county (check each month)

    I’m from Austin. I still love many things about Austin, but it kinda went in a direction I didn’t like & most of what I loved about the city has slowly eroded away. But I miss my friends & man, do I miss the food! Maybe I’ll fast the week before I go so I can eat myself into a coma.
