December 30, 2006:

Der Überlist: 2007

I just did the mad-dash last-minute attempt at ticking off a few extra items from my 2006 Überlist. I’m at just 44, a Kelly (as usual), but I’d need 8 even to make it into Andrea territory, and who really wants to be an Andrea, anyway? So I gave up all hope of getting anything else done–very liberating!

It’s WAY too ambitious, so there’s little hope of becoming a Brenda in 2007. (If you don’t know what I’m talking about, but you’re strangely intrigued, you should buy my datebook–they’re going fast!) Also: too much work and not enough fun. And definitely not enough anti-hag measures. Lately, I’m looking rode mighty hard and put away wet.

olive: failures strikeout: hooray! or: close enough blue: delusionally hoping to tick off a few more of these

Current tally: 53 Possible: maybe 3 more

Score: freakin’ Andrea. 13 away from Brenda. I’d need a Chrismakuh miracle, or to be way more lenient in my assessment of some of the more amorphous goals. Which would really amount to lying. I want to be Brenda, but not like that. Oh, well.
